These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of globalcardauctions.com (the “Site”) and participation in auctions operated by Global Card Auctions (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, bidding, or consigning, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to register or bid. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate, current information.

Bidding

All bids are binding offers to purchase and generally cannot be retracted. When you place a maximum (proxy) bid, you authorize us to bid on your behalf up to that amount. The highest bid at the close of a lot wins, subject to any reserve.

Shill Bidding & Prohibited Conduct

Bidding on your own consigned lots, coordinating bids to inflate prices, or any other manipulative activity is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension and cancellation of sales.

Buyer’s Premium & Fees

A buyer’s premium of [XX]% is added to the final hammer price of each winning lot. Applicable taxes and fees are shown at checkout.

Payment

Payment is due within [7] days of the auction close. We accept [payment methods]. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of the sale, suspension of bidding privileges, and other remedies.

Shipping & Risk of Loss

We package and ship won items with tracking and insurance. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer upon delivery. International buyers are responsible for customs duties and import fees.

Consignment

Consignors represent that they own the items consigned and have the right to sell them. Consignment terms, fees, and payout timing are set out in your consignment agreement.

Authenticity & Descriptions

We describe lots accurately to the best of our knowledge and note third-party grading where applicable. If an item materially differs from its description, contact us within [X] days of delivery.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Card Auctions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in auctions. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the lot in question.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Global Card Auctions from any claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

Governing Law
